Great family holiday in a stunning beach resort. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

The hotel was in a fantastic location on a stunning private beach. Facilities were excellent and rooms were very comfortable.

Some of the staff at reception were a bit unfriendly but overall nothing bad to say.

The private beach was stunning, our room was beautiful and clean, the staff were super polite, and there were plenty of options for lunch and dinner. Everything was great!

One aspect I didn't appreciate was the tendency for individuals to reserve sun beds with their towels and then leave to eat breakfast or go elsewhere. Consequently, those who genuinely wished to enjoy the beach couldn't find available spots, encountering numerous empty sun beds adorned solely with towels but devoid of people, leaving everything seemingly booked without justification. Also another negative thing was the transportation offered by the hotel which was super expensive for Phuket. I think that the hotel could have offered something beneficial to its guests!

Private beach ; old but well maintained; the food is good; they checked they checked the room two times a day. Normally none of hotel makes up the room on check out day; but they make and location is really perfect

They should supply free shuttle. This shouldn’t be the big deal for meridien. I didn’t like to bargain each time, first day I paid 200 baht; then transportation company changed they charged 300 . The issue is not money; but feeling safety.

Beautiful property and private beach! Great food

I just didn’t like that you had to walk all the way to the front gate to get foodpanda or Grab delivery. I get that they want you to eat at the hotel but if you stay a while and want something else one day they should allow deliveries especially at a hotel that is so closed off.

Wonderful stay

I loved the private beach. Breakfast was wonderful, offered even soy latte. Omelettes were tasty. All the bakery was fresh. The waiters were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and smelled fresh every day. The pool is nice, but most importantly the beach is amazing although it is wavy and is meant for surfing rather than swimming. The view from my room was breathtaking. I had an ocean view room. The gym is good and has treadmills, spinning bikes, mats, step platforms.

The furniture is a little ran down for a 5-star hotel. I had a piece of furniture broken on my desk. A staff member came to fix it but asked to come back in 2 hours and didn’t come back. I had to tell them to cancel it. While I tried to explain this to the receptionist they didn’t seem to understand everything I said. The reception staff members don’t understand English very well but it’s my fault, I should Learn Thai. I thought it was unprofessional that the staff asked me to wait in the room for him to come and fix the furniture. I can’t stay in my room all day waiting for someone to fix a piece of furniture when I was on a vacation. It’s very far from everywhere, and for those who don’t have a transportation, Grab is very expensive. I ordered grab food, and the reception staff told me grab is not allowed in, so I had to walk all the way to the gate, about 500 meters walk away to get my grab order. No shuttle service or nothing provided, whatsoever. I don’t mind walking, but I got mosquito bites. I think not a good standard for a 5-star hotel to treat their customers like this. Because of this experience, I was worried about ordering grab taxi to the airport so had to order a private car from the hotel to the airport which costs 1200 baht.

Stay worth staying for!

Staying at the hotel was amazing and the location is totally magic. Having access to a private beach is a dream. You really dont even feel like there are people around you! The total relaxed feeling you have and the comfort levels this hotel provides was much appreciated.

I have to admit that when I stay at a 5* hotel I have very high expectations. One thing that really got to me was the inconsistencies of things. I appreciate the standards the hotel has in place for covid, but inconsistencies they are carried out with was annoying. We were sent back to the room from breakfast for not having a mask - I appreciate that. However at lunch and dinner it was not an issue - inconsistency. At breakfast they were so concerned about the guests being covid aware, but after a guest left, only the table was wiped down and not the chairs - inconsistency. Furthermore, I have had many dinner buffets at the Hilton so thought I would give this hotel a try - I was really disappointed as even with a higher price tag the options and varieties were far below what I had come to expect as standard at another 5* hotel. Again, inconsistencies. These are really nit picking, but when you set a goal as a 5* hotel, but should surely be met!
